Camera & Equipment Use Policy

Thank you for choosing Roaming Wild with Daniel. During your private wildlife experience, you are welcome to use the professional optics and camera equipment provided to enhance your Yellowstone adventure.

Please read and agree to the following policy before using any equipment.

Equipment Available

Guests may have access to professional cameras, lenses, spotting scopes, binoculars, tripods, and digiscoping equipment during their tour.

Equipment is provided solely for use during your scheduled experience.

Basic Instruction

Roaming Wild with Daniel is a wildlife experience, not a photography workshop.

Basic operating instructions will be provided to help you use the equipment safely and confidently. Advanced photography instruction, camera settings, editing techniques, and photography coaching are not included.

Guest Responsibilities

While using the equipment, guests agree to:

  • Follow all instructions provided by the guide.

  • Handle equipment carefully and responsibly.

  • Never leave equipment unattended.

  • Notify the guide immediately if equipment is dropped, damaged, or malfunctions.

  • Return all equipment before the conclusion of the tour.

Damage

Normal wear is expected.

However, guests may be financially responsible for damage caused by intentional misuse, reckless behavior, negligence, or failure to follow instructions.

Wildlife Comes First

Equipment should never be used in a way that disturbs wildlife or encourages unsafe behavior. Never attempt to get an animal’s attention for a photo. Always maintain safe viewing distance away from animals. 25 yards from Bison, Elk, Pronghorn and other prey animals and 100 yards from Wolves and Bears.

The safety and well-being of Yellowstone's wildlife always take priority over obtaining photographs.

Right to Restrict Use

Roaming Wild with Daniel reserves the right to discontinue equipment use if it is being handled unsafely or in a manner that could result in damage or injury.
