Is this a photography tour?

No. Roaming Wild With Daniel is a wildlife viewing and educational experience, not a photography workshop.

Professional camera equipment is available for guests who would like to capture memories of their adventure. Basic instruction on operating the equipment will be provided, but the focus of the experience is wildlife observation, understanding animal behavior, and enjoying Yellowstone.

Will we see wolves, bears, or other wildlife?

Yellowstone is a wild ecosystem, and wildlife sightings can never be guaranteed.

Every day in Yellowstone is different. Animals move freely across a massive landscape, and part of the experience is the anticipation of searching, observing, and understanding the environment.

The goal is not simply to check animals off a list, but to experience Yellowstone as a living ecosystem.

A digiscoping setup is available for compatible smartphones. Please provide your phone model before your tour so the appropriate adapter can be prepared.
